You have requested it, now you can take a look for yourself: I'm happy to announce the first SnipNotes beta for macOS! Development is far from finished, but I want to incorporate your feedback as early as possible. This is a completely new app after all. SnipNotes 2.1 released

The wait is over, SnipNotes 2.1 has been released on the App Store today!

SnipNotes 2.1

This update adds some of the most frequently requested features:

  • You can now create custom categories for your notes. Enter a name and pick one of over forty icons. Categories synchronize over iCloud and are available on all your devices
  • The new trash allows you to restore deleted notes
  • Notes will now remember their last modification date and sort accordingly. Thereby the most frequently used notes will always stay at the top of your list
  • This update also contains a lot of bug fixes and smaller improvements

What’s Next for SnipNotes?

The last two and a half weeks have been great! I’ve received so much positive and constructive feedback like never before. Since then I’ve already released three minor updates, which included stability improvements and even some new user requested features, like the new color schema and some additional actions. SnipNotes 2.0 released

After over five months of development, seven beta releases and countless feedback messages from diligent testers, it's finally here: SnipNotes 2.0 was released on the App Store today and is available for download!

With this update SnipNotes receives a new design and over a dozen new features. An overview is available here, the complete list follows at the end of this news. Thanks a lot to the over a hundred testers and all fellow users, who made SnipNotes what it is today! Have fun with the app, I'm looking forward to your feedback.

‘Everything is new in May’ – that’s how an ancient German folk song begins. I’m happy to announce this proverb is also true for SnipNotes – SnipNotes 2.0 is nearly finished and will be released on May 19th! I’m finishing some details right now and you can still sign up for the beta test to send me your feedback. Happy Birthday SnipNotes!

It’s now exactly one year ago: On February 27th 2015 SnipNotes first saw the light of the App Store! Since its humble beginnings the app has grown quite a lot. It has received several major updates which included features like image support, an app for Apple Watch and splitscreen multitasking. Thank you all for your great support!
